“Improve corporate nutrition to enhance productivity and reduce sick days”

Michele Kingston BA Hons, BSc Nutr. Med, mBANT

Better nutrition to improve health and thus productivity in the workplace...

What I can offer your business to improve at work health:

The Office of National Statistics stated that around 613,000 workers took a total of 2,000,000 days off sick at the end of 2010, causing huge losses of efficiency and productivity.

Luckily, according to a study by the Labour Office of the United Nations, better nutrition to improve health in the workplace can raise productivity and reduce sick days. So now many large companies are investing in their employees by using nutrition experts to improve health in the workplace.

Today many employees can spend 10-12 hours a day at work, it is therefore a logical place for health intervention.

One on one consultations at the place of work, for complete convenience and reduce the amount of time spent away from work. The employee will be given a tailor-made nutrition and lifestyle plan focused on their needs, most importantly it will take into consideration their working habits, food available to them in the canteen and surrounding areas; making it as realistic and simple as possible to fit into their lives whilst creating maximum benefits.

Give seminars at events, you may have a specific subject in mind or I could advise on what would be most beneficial such as how to reduce stress, increase immunity, weight loss and how to eat healthily at work, for example.

Run exhibition stands at events with information and food and drink samples.

Consult on how to improve food and drink provided in the canteen/cafeteria on site.
